What the 6 hours look like
The 6-hour charter is for anglers who want the whole picture. The extra two hours let Captain Wills fish more than one stage of the tide, which is when different water turns on: flooded grass at the top, creek mouths and oyster edges as it falls.
More time also means more range. The skiff can run farther along the Intracoastal between Palm Valley and St. Augustine, and the day has room to target a second species instead of settling for the first bite.
It is the better trip for serious anglers, for groups of three who want everyone to get real time on the rod, and for anyone who has done the 4-hour trip and wished it kept going.

Start times are flexible through the day. Captain Wills plans the six hours around the best tide window.
Meet in Palm Valley or St. Augustine
Palm Valley: 377 South Roscoe Boulevard. St. Augustine: 612 Euclid Ave. Bring food for a longer day, drinks (no glass) and lotion sunscreen. All fishing gear, ice, waters and licenses are on the skiff.
First tide stage
Work the water that is fishing best at the start: grass flats on high water, creeks and edges on lower water.
Move with the tide
Run to fresh water as conditions change and go after a second species.
Fish cleaned and bagged
Legal keepers are cleaned for you before you head home.

No. There is no deposit and no payment online. You pay Captain Wills directly on the day of the trip.
Rods and reels, live bait and tackle, a fishing license for every angler, a cooler with ice, bottled waters and fish cleaning.
Drinks (cans or plastic, no glass), food or snacks, lotion sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. You are welcome to bring your own rods.
Yes. Trips are kid friendly, the water is protected and life jackets are on board. Let Captain Wills know the ages when you book.
Captain Wills makes the weather call with safety first. If a trip cannot run, you are rescheduled for another date at no cost. There is no deposit to lose.
